What is a child’s light?

Each child is born with a unique energy. We are all made of light and dark, just like nature. Light is the information of who we uniquely are. Every kids light wants to be shared. Just like the sun emits its rays, we too have a need to express our light. If the sun did not express its light, where would the light go?

A vital part of growing up is expression of the self, the soul. We see young kids share their imagination and creativity with confidence and pride. Their spark is so bright. The expression may be a drawing that looks like wild scribbles, sounds that you’ve never heard, movements that don’t make “sense” or stories of beings you have not seen before. This is important. Listen to what they have to share with you. This is their innocence bringing its truth to the world.

This is life in its purest process. This is art in its purest form.

If they did not learn this from anybody, where did it come from?

A child’s light does not fit into a package. It is not one thing or the other. Their light is wild and free. Their light is a mystery. By putting them into boxes, what does that do to their growth? As kids grow up, this is what the conditioning of the world can do. When this happens, where does their light go?

To remedy conditioning, we work with expression. The magic inside each child is deeply needed at this time. May their souls remain wild and free, may they share their light with the world.
