Alex is a nurse, an artist and has created her own business helping kids feel their strength and shine through a modality called Life Weaving. Over the last decade working as a nurse, she began to see how when we become disconnected from our creative spirit and imagination the body can become sick. By strengthening our creative spirit and imagination as children, we are working with preventative energy medicine. 

Over the last 4 years Alex has been working with children through art, movement and sound to connect to their creative spirit and shine. She has studied under the healer Deborah Hanekamp aka Mama Medicine learning how to work with the elements of nature to be ones own healer. The last three summers she has facilitated the Childrens Element Retreat at Deborahs Element Retreat In Northern Italy. During this week she teaches kids how to connect to the elements, create an art show and feel the magic of friendship.

Inspired by the amazing ideas, visions and imaginations she has seen in kids, she opened The Rainbow Weavers- artistic day camp and gallery for kids on Cape Cod.

The art kids make at the Rainbow Weavers comes from the unique creative nature of each child. Kids Learn how to create an art show and design every step of the process. The week following camp the space turns into a gallery where the public can view the art the kids created during camp!
